Veel van deze kinderen wonen in weeshuizen en kleinschalige opvangtehuizen. Meerderen van hen lopen een achterstand op door emotionele en psychische verwaarlozing, waardoor ze achterlopen in lezen en rekenen. Met extra lessen en ondersteuning, verzorgd door professionele leerkrachten, probeert Tabitha Nederland hier iets aan te doen. Het vraagt veel geduld en inspanning om deze kinderen zoveel bij te brengen dat ze de school op een acceptabel niveau kunnen verlaten. Met de projecten, die al lopen zien we goede resultaten. De leeftijd van de kinderen is tussen de 7- 14 jaar.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Daarnaast ondersteunen we ook leerlingen in de leeftijd van ca. 15- tot 22 jaar. Hierbij is ook aandacht voor beroepsopleidingen en universitaire vervolgstudies. Voorwaarde hierbij is dat de leerlingen absoluut gemotiveerd moeten zijn.
